The trailer for the newest installment in the X-Men franchise has just dropped. And it looks, how can I say this, different. As in scary different. As in mutant kids being put in a mental asylum with some kind of demon-monster-pushing-walls-like-they're-paper-Friday-the-13th-chainsaw-guy. How coincidental they released it on Friday the 13th of October. Well played, 20th Century Fox. Well played. However, I can't help but notice a few things. First off, it's...disturbing. And what's more, they never show these kids using their powers. So far, you could guess that it's just a horror movie, not at all connected to the X-Men universe. And also, I can't believe they reduced household names like Cannonball, Magik and Wolfsbane down to screaming teenagers. I'm not happy with it, frankly. But you know what? You're a human.
