Darth Vader in Rogue One: What's Up With That?

by Elijah Varner
We all screamed like little girls when we saw Lord Vader in the trailer, right? Well, I did. If you've been following the blog, well, that's normal to you by now. Anyway, back to business. Vader. We haven't seen the big guy up and running since Revenge of the Sith back in 2005, and that was about the lamest line in the whole movie. And I don't count his mask in Force Awakens.
But, this, my twelve consistent readers, is the real deal. Hopefully, we'll see him force choking people and maybe getting some lightsaber action in there somewhere. I ever so do hope.
The big question is, why? Well, other than the obvious reason that he's in the same time space as this storyline, why would they go through all the trouble to bring him in. My theory: with a project as big as this, the Emperor would send his most trustworthy servant to oversee this process. And, we as we all know, Vader has a bad habit of strangling his victims with the Force.
Could Orson Krennic be another general to fall to the hands of Vader. It would explain his absence in later movies. He most likely will die. And if not, he probably goes into hiding (and becomes Snoke, some stupid fans say). But what I want to know is, will Vader come face to face with our Rogue One team? That would make for some wicked action, and maybe the possible death of a teammate. (I mean, c'mon, there's no way that all six members will survive). Either way, I'm frickin' (pardon the language) excited for the black-caped Sith to strangle people in Rogue One on December 16, 2016.
