When the Spider-Man Homecoming Trailer Will Debut (We Think)

by Elijah Varner
We all fell in love with Tom Holland's take on Spidey in Civil War. Even if it was only for a twenty minutes. But now, the first in a new trilogy of Spidey movies will be coming in July 2017. I'm looking forward to the wisecracking webhead to take on the Vulture, the Tinkerer, and another dude I'm pretty sure is the Hobgoblin. Or maybe Shocker. Or just some goon in a yellow costume. Whatever.  But anyway, Marvel releases trailers in a pattern. It's always seven months before the movie comes out. We got Doctor Strange sometime in April, we got Guardians Vol. 2 in October, and so using my elaborate backwards counting, it's pinpointed towards December.
Disney has it in the bag when it comes to marketing, because they own so many big ticket franchises, they're making bank eight days a week. There's only one Disney-produced movie coming out in December, and we all know what that is. Rogue One. So, therefore, Spider-Man will get his trailer with Rogue One. Or just online. But whatever. Look forward to some cuts of Spidey swinging through the Big Apple, fighting robbers, and making jokes when Rogue One comes out on December 16, 2016.
